At the beginning of your journey with Uplift Energy Strategy, we synchronize our understanding of your specific commodity exposure and collaboratively develop a risk mitigation road map. This outlines the best course of action for physical and financial risk management based on the internal metrics that matter to your organization.
Through the development of the road map, we scrutinize the key physical and financial market risks specific to your firm. These risks drive our commercially-minded fundamentals team to focus on tailored analysis with the end goal of providing you with actionable physical and financial risk mitigation recommendations.
Our fundamentals team doesn't sell reports or sign up subscribers - our purpose is to leverage our analytical insights to consistently deliver targeted analysis and actionable strategies to help producers navigate the tumultuous energy markets in which they operate.

Our team has decades of experience in physical natural gas, oil, and NGL marketing. We are commercially-minded and will carry out the daily operational management of production volumes from the wellhead to the ultimate point of sale. Gas control and scheduling services consist of managing imbalances, coordinating operational changes between the producer and midstream provider, and validating invoices from midstream providers.
In addition, our team will seek out and propose value-adding short and long-term sales strategies to augment your physical sales portfolio and optimize any physical assets in your portfolio.
The UES hedge strategy team developed its financial market acumen while being employed by producers. We think about risk management the right way - with the intention of protecting cash flows and maintaining operational consistency. We bring that perspective to your firm and follow our client's risk management road map to recommend strategies based on each producer's exposure profile, internal metrics & covenants, and risk appetite.
Our recommendations are deeply rooted in fundamentals and derived from the key market risks our team rigorously models and monitors. UES has relationships with all of the major banks and key market makers to ensure we obtain the best possible price for our clients when executing creatively and confidentially. We'll also manage confirms, counterparty onboarding, and hedge exposure reporting processes to fully protect our client's from price risk and ensure continual operations.
The foundation of UES's successful track record stems from a proprietary view of the energy markets with a focus on regional supply, demand and infrastructure in and around the operating regions of our clients. The UES fundamentals process is commercially-focused and each member has a background in the E&P space so we are keen to the specific needs of our producer clients.
We begin with a deep-dive into each client's exposure profile and collaboratively generate a risk management road map. This road map drives the direction and focus of our client-specific fundamentals analysis. We then communicate the findings of our analysis and recommend thoughtful and actionable hedge recommendations and physical sales strategies to support the financial goals of our clients.
Difficult questions require creative solutions. Leverage UES's robust and dynamic team to uncover value, find answers, and evaluate key opportunities with ad hoc market analysis and fundamental deep-dives.
We also have deep working relationships with many key midstream providers and will evaluate and negotiate midstream contracts or engage in a restructure on your behalf. Our team has vast experience evaluating acquisitions and divestitures from a market perspective and can provide input into these needle-moving opportunities.
